InterLibrary Loan: Materials may be borrowed from other libraries for patrons in good standing. No renewals or transfers.

Public Computers:     8 with Internet access

Online databases: Visit the Michigan eCatalog at  http://www.mel.org

Fax:    Sending: $1 a page; limit 20 pages
          Receiving: $1 for the first page, 50 cents after that

Copier:    25 cents a page

Programming for all ages, including Summer Reading Programs in summer,  children' story hour  crafts, and much more.
   
Tax Forms are available during the first quarter of the year.

Genealogy Materials: Thompson Home Library has a collection of historical and genealogical materials in the Michigan Room.  For more information, you may email us at thpl@edzone.net

Microfilm Reader: Also in the Michigan Room are back issues of local newspapers on microfilm.  A microfilm reader is available: copies are 25 cents each.

MATERIALS

Books: More than 27,000. One month checkout; new titles have a 14-day checkout.

DVD’s and videos: 920 items currently, new ones added every month. Videocassettes are now free of charge, except for overdue fines, and DVD’s are $2 with a 35 cent fine per day.  Both check out for one week.

Music CD’s: Over 150 titles.  One-week checkout.

Audio books: 598 on both cassette and CD. One month checkout; 14 days for new ones.

Magazines & Newspapers: Includes four newspapers: the Gratiot County Herald, Morning Sun, Detroit Free Press, and Lansing State Journal, .  Current magazine subscriptions total more than 75. Past issues of magazines can be checked out.
